Writing and maintaining a blog for your business is a great way to keep in front of customers or clients and position yourself as an expert in your field. A blog can also help drive traffic to your website and rank you higher in search engines. Blogging sounds like a great idea in theory, but who has the time for it? And how can you use it to promote your business? If you are thinking about starting a blog or just aren’t sure what to do with a blog that you have, this workshop is for you!

This workshop will answer the 5 Ws for business blogging:

• Who should be blogging?
• What can a blog do for me and my business? (Also, what is a blog in the first place?!)
• Where do I start?
• Why should I blog for my business?
• When do I find the time to blog?

Schedule:

• 11:30am  – Come early and network with the experts on the Social Media Task Force

• 1:00pm – Optional Q&A and networking

Your Presenter: Jennifer Barbour is a professional copywriter, blogger and new media consultant. She is the chief engagement officer at another jennifer writing lab, where she helps businesses and bloggers tell their story. She blogs, she writes marketing messages, and she helps people create and manage engaging content.

Blogging regularly since 2007, Jennifer has covered a variety of topics that range from parenting to alcohol and drug addiction. As a trained copywriter, she has lost count as to how many websites she has penned over the years.
