Destination Wellness Midcoast Maine (DWMM) is a newly formed professional organization for practitioners, businesses and organizations whose work touches upon the physical, mental or spiritual health of Midcoast Maine's residents and visitors. We originated as a project led by Karen Brace, PBRCC Membership Director, and other wellness business owners within that chamber's service area. We are now 100+ members and growing. 

Our mission is to make health and wellness a mainstay of life in Midcoast Maine and to have this region recognized nationwide for health and wellness by 2020.Our focus area is the Midcoast: Waldo, Knox, Lincoln, and Sagadahoc Counties and the towns of Brunswick and Harpswell. 

We manifest our mission through a three-pronged approach: connect the public to health and wellness resources through a website, print directory and social media; foster interaction to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and coordination of services; and promote health and wellness as a way of life through inspiring programs and events.
