Lord of the Flies is a play based on the dystopian novel by William Golding. British schoolboys are marooned on a tropical island, and their attempts to set up self-government devolve into terror and death. A dark look at human nature, the book is controversial, but has become a classic of literature. The play is presented by Mt. Ararat High School Stage Company. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6, at 7 pm.
