Offered jointly by Mid Coast Hospital and Access Health, the “Our Health: Film and Discussion Series” is hosted by Frontier Cinema and Café in Brunswick. Due to popular demand there will be a second screening of “Consider the Conversation” on April 7 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a discussion about preparing for end-of-life care. The event is free and open to the public.

A thought-provoking documentary, Consider the Conversation looks at many of the issues we will all face at the end-of-life. The film focuses on the emotional, spiritual, physical, and social aspects of this difficult and often taboo discussion, inspiring better quality care for caregivers, patients, and their families.

Jessica Vickerson, FNP, MSW, Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner at Mid Coast Hospital, Carl DeMars, MD, CHANS Home Health Care Hospice Medical Director, and Florin Olteanu, MD, Geriatrician and Medical Director at the Mid Coast Senior Center will lead the audience in a discussion directly following the film.
