Community Calendar

First Light Camera Club of Topsham has started its season of programming for the 2015-2016 season. The Club meets at least three times per month from September through May for field trips, tech nights, photo outings, and guest speakers. Photographer Kathleen Clemons will be the Club’s first speaker. She will present a program on “The Art of Selected Focus” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 24 at the Topsham Medical Building, 4 Horton Place in Topsham. Guests pay $10 for this special program; there is no fee for members. The cost of a year’s membership is $35.

Kathleen Clemons is a New England-based freelance photographer. Primarily an accomplished nature photographer, she is the winner of many contests and awards. Kathleen is known for her creative use of natural light and unique compositions. She teaches online photography classes at the Perfect Picture School of Photography (www.ppsop.com) as well as teaching several classes on location each year.
