Community Calendar

Historian Scott T. Hanson will present an illustrated talk on Staffordshire transferware and its historic use in the Topsham area and elsewhere. The talk will include highlights from the Transferware Collectors’ Club tour of the potteries and museums in Staffordshire and examples from his own collection, which includes several patterns owned by the Whitten family. Copies of Hanson's book on stain removal and cleaning of antique Staffordshire pottery will be available for purchase.
