University College at Bath/Brunswick invites the community to attend a Justice Studies Information Session on Tuesday, March 22, from noon -1:00 pm. Sharon Sawyer, Assistant Professor of Justice Studies, University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) will provide an overview of the UMA Justice Studies degree and the paralegal certificate and discuss related career paths.
The UMA Justice Studies program is fully available locally through courses offered at the University College center and courses offered online. Graduates of the program are employed in a variety of career fields ranging from local, state and federal law enforcement, probation, substance abuse prevention, victim’s advocate, mediator, paralegals and private security.
