FREE Prostate Cancer Screening October 22 9:00 AM Mid Coast Hospital , Brunswick Mid Coast Hospital is hosting a FREE prostate cancer screening on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Screenings will be provided by Mid Coast Hospital providers and will include a discussion with a physician, a blood draw, and an exam to check the prostate gland.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men after skin cancer, affecting one out of every seven men in the U.S. This screening is for those at higher risk including:

• Men between the ages of 55-69
• Men older than 40 with a family history of prostate cancer
• African-American men older than 40
Space is limited and registration is required by calling (207) 373-6585.

This screening is held in collaboration with the Maine Coalition to Fight Prostate Cancer through a generous grant from the Senter Foundation.
