Event Planner Open House 10:00 AM Mechanics’ Hall , Portland, Maine We're hosting a welcome event for caterers, event planners, and group organizers to get a tour of historic Mechanics' Hall. Please visit us to learn more about rental opportunities for our gorgeous Ballroom, Boardroom, Classroom, and Library. We'll serve a continental breakfast, answer questions, and show you around this architectural gem centrally located in Portland's Downtown.

Today, the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association (Mechanics’ Hall) has about 300 members. Members have the use of the historic library on Congress Street and may attend events including readings by local and national authors and travel lectures presented by producers of films from around the world.
