Community Calendar
Area residents are invited to attend a free screening of the documentary film "Searching For Home, Coming Back From War” on Sunday, November, 13 at 1:00 pm in the Hannaford Lecture Hall on the Southern Maine Community College Midcoast Campus on Brunswick Landing. The screening is sponsored by University College at Bath/Brunswick, University of Maine at Augusta, Southern Maine Community College and the Mid-Coast Veterans Council.
“Searching for Home: Coming Back from War” explores, the challenging journeys of veterans returning home from war and their search for the “home” they left behind–physically, mentally and spiritually. This documentary was created by Emmy Award winning filmmaker, Eric Christiansen and features the stories of several Maine veterans and their families.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion. Veterans resource information will be provided. Light refreshments will be served. The screening is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and to RSVP please call 442-7736 or sign-up online at learn.maine.edu/bath
