The Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter serves the entire state and is here to help. We provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer's and other dementias including those living with the disease, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals. We advocate for the needs and rights of those facing dementia. We work to advance critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure.
Currently, more than 29,000 people in Maine are living with Alzheimer's disease, and over 46,000 caregivers provide 68,000,000 hours in unpaid care. Visit alz.org/facts.
