Come Join us for Swing Dance Sundays! December dance: Sunday Dec. 15th, 6-8:30+pm. People Plus, 35 Union St., Brunswick, ME. All ages and all generations welcome! No partner needed. There’s plenty of optional mixing of partners. We welcome new dancers, and we’re happy to practice with you during the dance. This dance features music that lends itself to West Coast or Lindy Hop swing and we have a special guest: celebrated Florida based teacher Cindy-Lee Overton will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson from 6-7pm. Please bring dance shoes to change into when you arrive, to protect the dance floor from street grit. Hint: comfortable shoes with smooth soles that aren’t too sticky on the floor make it easier to dance. Suggested donation $10.
