Where Have All the Birdies Gone? - Virtual Event 7:00 PM Online - Free Virtual Event , Topsham - Brunswick, ME Since 1970, we have lost 1 in 4 birds across the globe. Bird populations are declining almost everywhere and climate change is increasing challenges to bird health and survival. Learn which birds are most and least affected and why, especially birds in Maine.

Understanding a challenge is the first step toward addressing it. Join us to learn about threats to bird populations and what YOU can do to create a healthy future for the feathered friends that bring us such joy.

Barbara Snapp has a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell and has spent 45 years teaching and conducting research. Barbara continues to teach science-based courses at Midcoast Senior College, participates in Project Feederwatch and other citizen science initiatives, monitors preserves for migrating shorebirds, and more.
