Pejepscot History Center presents:
Adapting Historic Recipes for Modern Kitchens
February 18, 6:30PM, via Zoom
With Marie Pangborn, PHC Docent for the Chamberlain Museum and Skolfield-Whittier House
What better time than the month of LOVE to try your hand at a historic recipe for your friends or family? Welcome to our own version of a cooking show… with one of our favorite bakers, Marie Pangborn, who made many delicious and gorgeous desserts the last two years for our Skolfield After Dark holiday party using Skolfield family recipes.
Marie will prepare two recipes on-screen, discussing how to adapt old recipes to modern kitchens along the way–interpreting directions, altering ingredients, and adjusting measurements.
Recipes will be sent out in advance for those wishing to test their skills and taste their treats during the program.
Tickets: PHC Members: $10 (and we cover online ticket processing fee!); Non-Members: $15. Zoom link provided upon registration.
