FRIDAY FEBRUARY 25, 2022
The Legacy Investments Free Family Ice Rink will be set up and available, just remember to bring your skates!

The Chocolate Church Arts Center will be hosting an evening of Bluegrass music starting at 7:30pm with Erica Brown and the Bluegrass Connection. Tickets available at chocolatechurcharts.org

Beer Garden and Comedy evening number one of two will be available at Bruno’s Wood Fired Grill on Front Street. Come unwind and prepare for a busy day of exploring Bath on Saturday! Bill Douglas and Jareth Johnson and Bob Giannini will be our stand up comedians starting at 8pm.

Live Music Fridays @ Bath Brewing! Friday, 2/25/22 6pm-8:30pm. Local musician, Andy Rice, is coming back at Bath Brewing Company! Andy’s rich vocal talent lends itself beautifully to a wide variety of music. From nostalgic country tunes by Walon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash to popular songs from Elvis Presley, CCR, the Eagles and Jimmy Buffet.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 26, 2022

Library Park will be alive all day with activities for the whole family. The Legacy Investments Free Family Ice Rink will be available from 10am- 8pm. The Winter Disc Golf Course brought to us by Midcoast Federal Credit Union will host the 2022 MSB Winter Disc Golf Tournament from 11am-12pm with Free Family Disc Golf available from 12-4pm.

Kids can test their skills at a Winter Gauntlet at Library Park and participate in a Color Challenge with Frozen Paint brought to us by the Universe Gym. Kids can grab a scavenger hunt list and head downtown to search for clues. Shetland Yard Farm will be joining us with a pony pen for animal lovers to take a moment and pet the ponies. At 2:30pm make sure to pop back for Outdoor YETI YOGA! Exactly as it sounds, and super fun!

Thanks to a generous anonymous donation, SubZero Ice Carvings will be showcasing a huge demo at the Pocket Park (next to Lisa Marie’s Made in Maine on Front Street), and there will be two other ice sculptures in the downtown to enjoy as you explore shops and restaurants. One should make the PERFECT selfie station. Make sure to tag #mainstreetbath and #bathwinterfest

Great Works Landscape and Union & Co bring us The Grant Lot Spot (behind 31 Centre Street) with John Stenquist’s Fire Sculpture and a public Snow Man Build. No need to bring your own supplies, Snow Men will be stocked with free decorative buttons, scarves and other supplies kindly donated by R.M. Tates Salvage Warehouse.

The Friends of Patten Free Library will be hosting a Winterfest Book Sale at 84 Front Street, featuring History, Biographies, Arts & Entertainment, Cookbooks and Women’s Studies. February 26th from 9:30-430pm and February 27th from 9:30am-2:00pm.

Winter Chess will be available along with cocoa and cookies at the corner of Elm and Front Street (locally known as Elm Street Plaza). This is brought to us by Age Friendly Communities of the Lower Kennebec. 11am-1pm.

Kennebec Estuary Land Trust will be hosting Educational Demo’s at Waterfront Park (65 Commercial Street) where you can learn about Winter Animal Tracks and test out Snowshoes. 10am-1pm.

If you happen to be there around 11am, you will witness a performance from Urban Dynamix Dance Company!

From Now You’re Cooking: “Stop by Now You’re Cooking on Saturday, February 26 from 10am–5pm for a One-Day Sale on Zavor 6qt Lux Edge Multicookers during Bath’s Winterfest! Regularly $129.99; these are a combination of a pressure cooker slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, steamer, and more; and they will be on sale for $99.99 during the Saturday of Winterfest. Questions? Stop in and chat with Mike, he’ll be in the kitchen demonstrating the many uses of these multicookers that day.” Here is a link to the event!

Bruno’s Wood Fired Grill will be hosting a beautiful and heated outdoor Beer Garden in partnership with Trinken Brewing! You can find them in the rear entrance of their building and on our map below.

Maine’s First Ship will fire their cannon for the very first time at High Noon! Make sure to head over to their location at 27 Commercial Street so you can see this important, historical moment!

The Bath Area YMCA will be hosting a Childcare Evening from 4-8pm (details at bathymca.org) so parents can go out to dinner on the town or visit Maine’s First Ship for their Bean Supper and Maritime Cocktail Contest.

Come enjoy Maine’s First Ship’s incredible offering of a Yankee Bean Supper. Expand your experience with the Maritime Cocktail Contest, and finish off with a sweet treat from La Nef Chocolates. 4-8pm.

Byrne’s Irish Pub will be hosting the band, “Always, Sometimes” playing 6-9pm on Saturday the 26th.

Comedy Night @ Bath Brewing Company! Saturday 2/26/22 7pm-8:15pm (in the Bar/Pub area). Johnny Ater is one of our favorite local standup comedians. He’s played at the Chocolate Church, Baxter Brewing, Johnson Hall, and we’re very happy to see him here at Bath Brewing! Come join them for a beer and some laughs!

Bruno’s Wood Fired Grill has another Comedy Evening to choose from as well with three fresh faces: Al Ghanekar, Ben Chadwick, and Gabriel Beury-Moore. Starting at 8pm and NOT a show for kids, plan on an evening of laughter and sarcasm.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2022

Brunch at Mae’s Cafe, Byrne’s Irish Pub, Southgate Family Restaurant or The Galley Restaurant will fill you up with the hearty sustenance you need for one last trip around the rink at Library Park or to test your family on a game at the Winter Disc Golf Course. Enjoy all Bath has to offer by touring the Maine Maritime Museum before heading back to your hometown.
