Have you been hearing about interesting online tools and applications and don’t know how to start? Or have you started using some of them and could share your experience? You could come participate in the new noontime Tech Meet-up at the Curtis Memorial Library, with sessions on April 23^rd, May 7^th, and May 14 scheduled thus far. The April 23rd session will cover how to use Skype and FaceTime, free audio and video programs that enable users to call friends and family who have an internet connection. (Curtis Library’s public access computers have Skype installed.) The May 7^th session will introduce online tools for Photo storage and organization (Picasa and Flickr), while the topic on May 14 will be Facebook.

All skill levels are welcome and, depending on who is there, beginners may be able to get advice from attendees with more experience.

Each program will start with an introduction and demo, and end with a time for attendees to share how they use, or could use, these tools. If you have a laptop and are willing to share your work at the end of the session you are welcome to bring it. Also feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.
