Pine Tree Society's Audiology program will host an open house featuring free hearing screenings and two workshops on Wed., May 23 at its 149 Front Street location in Bath. The event will be held as part of Better Speech and Hearing month.

Pine Tree Society’s Audiology program will host an open house featuring free hearing screenings and two workshops on Wed., May 23 at its 149 Front Street location in Bath. The event will be held as part of Better Speech and Hearing month.

A 10-minute hearing screening is the essential first step in determining if you have a hearing loss. Screenings will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The hour-long workshops will take place at 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the morning workshop covering updates on current hearing aid technology and the afternoon workshop providing communication tips on living well with hearing loss.

Light refreshments and coffee will be available. To schedule a screening appointment or register for a workshop, please call Pine Tree Society’s Audiology program at 443-3341.
