During this two-day program co-sponsored with the New England Wild Flower Society, ecologist Ted Elliman, NEWFS Vegetation Management Coordinator, will give an overview of problems, both ecological and political, caused by invasive plants. In the Education Center at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, he’ll introduce common invasive species through images and specimens; the group will also make short local field visits. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. $100 members, $120 nonmembers.
