Curtis Memorial Library’s Money Works for Women program presents a public talk on “Starting Out In Investing” on Thursday, June 16 at 5:30 pm. Curtis’s financial educator, Ellen Hawkins, will speak about the basics of investing, covering what you need to get started or to make more sense of your existing investments. Martin Blasco, financial literacy librarian, will talk about resources at the library and online to help better understand and further explore investing topics on your own. Following Hawkins’ talk the Money Works for Women Investment Education Club will meet for an activity pertaining to the topic of the evening.
