Chamber’s Mid Coast Edge Invites Area Young Professionals To Special Networking Event on October 25th

The Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber’s newly formed young professionals group, Midcoast Edge, is inviting residents from the greater Bath-Brunswick-Topsham Region between the ages of 21 and 39 years to attend a special networking event at the Sea Dog Brewing Co. on October 25^, 5-7pm.

The Mid Coast Edge was founded in 2012 by young professionals from several chamber businesses who believe young people are critical to Maine’s long-range prosperity and quality of life.  In order to retain and attract young residents, Mid Coast Edge raises awareness of opportunities for young people to realize their professional and personal aspirations in the greater Bath-Brunswick-Topsham Region, and connects young people to social, civic, and career opportunities throughout the state.

“The goal of the group is to network with peers, help to grow the community and explore new opportunities” states Matt Rice.  Rice was the Chamber’s 2010 Young Professional of the Year and initial group leader that brainstormed and formed the Mid Coast Edge.    

The Mid Coast Edge is proud to announce their 2012 sponsors: Burgess Computer of Bath, Long Cove Builders of Harpswell, Original Computing of Brunswick, and The Inn At Brunswick Station, also of Brunswick.  Without the time and support of these businesses and their employees, the Mid Coast Edge would not exist today!
