Event description “Wings Over Wiscasset” celebrates America's history and veterans. World War II Airplanes, Antique Autos, Incredible Music, History, Science and Fireworks come together to create a family fun day like no other in Maine, while raising awareness and funds for local non-profits. Children's on hand activities with pilots, planes, antique autos, scientist, musicians and artists begin the day. The afternoon is focused on historical presentations featuring interviews of WWII pilots and participants of the home-front efforts as well as static displays perfect for seniors and families. The evening is filled with activities for all beginning with an antique auto parade provided by Boothbay Railway Museum, WWII airplane parade and air show presented by the Texas Flying Legends Museum followed by Music Doing Good's "Voices of Freedom" concert celebrating our freedom through music from WWII to the present.
