Good things come in small packages. After the success of the “tiny” exhibit last year, Spindleworks offers a new collection of small works from the studios on Lincoln Street. Once again, the show will include work from the community which has been juried by the artists of Spindleworks. The jurying process is an important part of the artists’ professional development; while they are exposed throughout the year to the work of other artists, this experience challenges them to really reflect on what they are looking at and to give their opinion. The diverse selection including sculpture, fiber, photography and collage will open for view on August 9th, with a reception from 5-8pm during the Second Friday ArtWalk.
