The Board of Directors, staff and friends of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick request the pleasure of your company on Saturday, November 9, 2013 for our year-end holiday celebration, Harvest the Power of Mentoring at the Maine Maritime Museum. This fundraiser will begin at 5:00pm with a cocktail reception, Sewall Hall and the Museum galleries will be open at this time. A Harvest Dinner catered by Sarah’s Café will follow along with live music by Tom Porter, accomplished jazz pianist and host of MPBN Radio’s Maine Things Considered. The event will include a silent and live auction with special guest auctioneer John Bottero of Thomaston Place Auction Galleries. Numerous products, goods and services donated by local businesses, restaurants, crafters and artisans will be featured including: a Taylor Swift photo and CD autographed by the artist, an overnight stay at The Bluenose in Bar Harbor, lift tickets to Saddle Back Ski Area, furniture from Sweet Dreams, gift certificate from Custom Coach and Limousine, Boston Celtics tickets, pottery, jewelry, art and more! Proceeds will support Community, School and Site-Based mentoring programs for approximately 200 local children. Seating is limited, tickets are $75.
