This location at 9 Main Street in Bowdoinham will be unique, as it will be based entirely on video banking technology.  We’ll have two units; one for transactions such as deposits & withdrawals via a Personal Teller Machine, or PTM.  The PTM is not self serve, it is operated by our call center agents who are located at our Lewiston branch.  The video conference allows for a two way interaction between member and agent. The PTM accepts cash and checks for deposit; dispenses cash, checks and coin and has an ID scanner and signature pad. All the member needs to do to initiate a transaction is touch the screen and an agent will appear to perform the transaction.  

The other component will accommodate members for new accounts and loans.  It will be a sit-down ‘kiosk’ type of unit with a touch screen monitor, integrated signature pad, ID scanner, document scanner and printer. Members will initiate a video session with a call center agent who will be able to open accounts, process and close loans, demonstrate the use of online products through screen sharing, etc.   

The hours for the branch will be from 8:30am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and it will be open on all holidays except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
