GET YOUR GROOVE ON! This concert benefits the Mid Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross. When most people think of the Red Cross, they think “disaster relief”.  And in our community of Mid Coast Maine, most often that means our volunteers and staff is responding to a residential fire – the #1 disaster Red Cross chapters respond to every year.   The local Brunswick Downtown and Cook’s Corner Fire Department will at the concert with their tower and rescue truck, along with its Fire Prevention Trailer in support of the Red Cross.  Even Sparky the Fire Dog, the Fire Safety Advocate and Spokesdog for the National Fire Protection Association is planning to be on hand to enjoy the music and help spread the word on the importance of fire safety.

In addition to Maine's own Rustic Overtones these folks will also perform: Sly Chi, Grand Hotel, Pete Kilpatrick Band, Anderson Council, Pete Miller Band and Max Ater.

Advanced tickets are available at all Bull Moose stores throughout Maine and New Hampshire at $12 per person until July 14th.  Tickets are always available at the door at $15 per person.  Children under 12 and over 80 are FREE.  The Gates open on Saturday at 10:00 AM.  Motorcycles, dogs and glass containers are not allowed on site.

 “Concert By the Bay” is sponsored by Thomas Point Beach as an important part of its mission to give back to local charitable organizations.  The 2011 Giving Back Fundraiser Program supports its local Mid Coast American Red Cross for everything they do for so many, every day!   We at Thomas Point Beach and Campground wish to thank each one of the bands participating in this great event...it couldn't be done without you!
