Popular annual fair featuring hand-crafted gifts, costume and estate jewelry, a huge white elephants area, antiques/collectibles, professional local artists/crafters selling their wares and demonstrating their craft, silent auction, raffle of hand-stitched art quilt commemorating Georgetown's Tri-centennial, homemade baked goods, Maine children's authors reading and signing their books, and children's activities. Sit-down lobster salad or turkey salad luncheon, with side dishes, beverage, and homemade dessert (and hot dogs for the kids and those on-the-go). ALL proceeds go to local student scholarships and town services - all provided by volunteers, including the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department, the Georgetown Community Center, the Laura E. Richards Library, and the Georgetown Historical Society.

This is a banner year for Georgetown - please join us for our Tri-centennial:1716-2016 Celebration! The Working League's hand-stitched art quilt commemorates this historical event, featuring vibrant fireworks lighting up the night sky over a local harbor filled with boats and ships representing 300 years of maritime history. Raffle tickets for this prized item will be available all summer at the Five Islands Wharf most weekends - weather permitting - and on the day of the Fair - August 13.
