In June of 2010 New England Tent & Awning was sold to David Norton of Peaks Island. The business had been owned by the Gowell family since 1929. During this long history it maintained its location on Pleasant Street in Brunswick. The old location had no room for growth. Mr. Norton began working with MRRA in July of 2010 to relocate the business to a building at the new Brunswick Landing. Because of the nature of NE Tent & Awning it required a special building to house its Awning manufacturing business and its Tent Rental business. The new location is in a 7000 sq. foot facility.

(Directions: Enter Brunswick Landing through the main entrance off of Cooks Corner, Fitch Ave. Continue through the former guard check point building until you reach the air strip. Turn left onto  Orion Street. Go app. 1/8 mile. The sign for Hanger #5 will be on your right. Our building is on the left. We have a large group of trees that hides the building on the street side. The former BNAS Police shares the same parking lot. Turn left into the parking lot and you will see our large sign on the end of the building.)
