Google has changed the way it displays search results. YouTube is now the 2nd most searched site on the web. Social media has taken over the world – or at least it seems so. Join us to learn about these changes and how they may affect you and your customers. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has always been ‘the bible’ for ranking your website. That is not necessarily the case any more. Local Internet Marketing involves geographically targeting your business. It is fast, can be very inexpensive – many of the techniques are free, and your business can show on the first page of Google very quickly. Social media is huge but you need a plan with considerable thought behind it before you commit to it. Did you know that YouTube serves over 1 billion videos a day? Do you have videos on YouTube – should you? Mobile marketing is the next ‘new thing’ in marketing especially with 50% of the cell phone users expected to upgrade to smartphones this year. Learn some of the new methods available to reach the mobile market. You and your local customers need to know… Judi Jones, principal of InfoHarbor LLC, is an online marketer and website developer. She has held various management and technical positions in small and large businesses prior to starting her own company in 1998. Over the years she has provided website development and maintenance, administrative support and software training to many, many small businesses. Now she also helps get her clients found online by using some of the techniques she will discuss at our meeting. She has been a member of ACE since 2002 and currently serves as Treasurer.
