Bear Management Come hear Wildlife Ecologist John Wood describe his research and close encounters with our Maine Black Bear. John works with Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife on “The Bear Crew”, charged with species management and collecting data on the health and survival of our Maine Black Bear populations. The Bear Crew’s important research work with bear is dangerous, although inspirational and outstanding.
