It’s MAY! It’s MAY! A GREAT time to Get up, Get out, and MOVE!

MOVING IS GOOD!! Here are 3 Simple ways to do just that…

Not everyone feels comfortable going to the gym or may not have access to one, so here are 3 simple ways you can get your body moving that's fun and potentially in the comfort of your home.

Go for a walk or hike! Make walking a part of your life, every day. Even better, take your dog (or cat) with you. Spring is such a great time to watch the woods and fields come alive with color! And, there many miles of walking and hiking trails and even walking and hiking groups in the mid-coast region! Our critters insist we walk daily.

Dance party in the kitchen! Not only is dancing ridiculously fun but wow does it give you a great workout! It really doesn't matter what kind of dancing you do or what music you dance to, just have fun at grooving. For fun, next time you dance have your step counter on! You'd be surprised what 3 minutes of merengue will do for your step quota if you have one!

Online fitness classes! With fitness trainers having the option to take their fitness classes online (from your app store e.g.; Apple - Train With Me; WE love this - ask us!). PLUS, there are so many disciplines you can learn and take part in with a group, right from home. We hear that dance classes are awesome!

AND - There is always the gym! Getting stated at home is great. However, when it comes time to step things up, get some professional guidance, or find a group to play with, our greater Bath - Brunswick region has A LOT to choose from! Just a few possibilities to check out: Spark Cycling Studio; Wilcox Wellness & Fitness; or Ebb and Flow Yoga. We hope these ideas inspire you to try something new and keep your fitness routine fresh.
