Brunswick Naval Air Staion Reunion Sept 17-19; July Update

Dear friends of the Brunswick Naval Aviation Museum –
 
We are pleased to report that more than 200 people have registered for the 2021 NAS Brunswick Reunion to date and we are looking forward to hosting a great event during the weekend of 17 – 19 September.  Here are some important updates that we want to pass:
 

• Admiral William F. “Bill” Moran, USN (Retired) - a former VP-44 “Golden Pelican” and 39^th Vice Chief of Naval Operations - is confirmed as the guest speaker for the Lobster Bake Banquet on Saturday night

• Mr. Jack Holder, a 100 year old Pearl Harbor survivor and veteran of the WWII Pacific campaign as a Flight Engineer in PBY “Catalinas” in VP-23

• Official U.S. Navy approval of static displays, and we are planning for both a P-3 and P-8 static display for Reunion attendees

• Effective May 24^th, the state of Maine has eliminated all mask requirements and capacity restrictions for outdoor venues.  We will have hand sanitizer stations distributed throughout the Reunion area and attendees are of course welcome to wear masks at their personal discretion.

• We do not consider your registration to be complete until you have paid both your registration fee and your meal prices.  If you registered on our website but did not pay using Paypal, please contact us at Reunion@bnamuseum.org to make payment arrangements.

• If you prefer to pay via check, you can download the registration form here, print and complete it, and mail to us at 179 Admiral Fitch Avenue Brunswick, ME 04011.

• We will accept walk up registrations/payments during the course of the Reunion, but Lobster Bake Banquet meals must be pre-paid by Friday, 10 September.

• As a reminder, we will have a videographer station to capture and record oral histories of your experiences while stationed at NAS Brunswick; please sign up for a 30 minute slot using the e-mail address reunion@bnamuseum.org
