Eaton Peabody Launches "Craft Counsel" Law Blog

Eaton Peabody’s Business Practice Group is pleased to announce the launch of its “Craft Counsel” law blog at www.craftcounsel.us.  The law blog will focus upon providing craft breweries, distilleries, fermentories, wineries, and cideries general information relating to their industry-specific legal challenges, whether federal, state, or local. The law blog was established and is now managed by attorney, John J. Moran in the firm’s Portland office.

John explained the intent and purpose of the law blog: “In light of the craft beverage industry’s profound growth in Maine and throughout New England, we created the law blog to help sustain that momentum by offering craft beverage entrepreneurs a one-stop resource for general information, links to federal and state forms, and updates on recent changes in the law. It is both refreshing and exciting to meaningfully contribute to this highly collegial, sophisticated, and independent industry.
