SBA Maine District Office is Hiring a LENDER RELATIONS SPECIALIST!!!

Do you know someone who might like to help Maine small businesses start, grow, and thrive?!  Maybe a recent college graduate, someone previously in the military, an individual with experience in banking or an understanding of how to interpret rules and regulations and translate them so non-government types can understand what they mean? Do they enjoy working with a variety of people both in person and by phone or via webinar? Well the role of Lender Relations Specialist may just be the one for them and the Maine District Office is hiring! 

A Lender Relations Specialist or LRS gets to work not only with traditional and non-traditional lenders in our state, but they also work with small business owners, and other economic development professionals.  They will be involved with not only lending, but general economic development, government contracting, and international trade programs both through marketing and outreach around all of our SBA programs, so they will need to have strong communication skills, great customer service skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing roles and responsibilities.  It’s hard to be bored when you’re an LRS!
